Every service produces a written record. The owner receives a clear account of what was found, what was done, and which parts were addressed.

Pre-Work Assessment

Before any work starts, we review the condition of the piece and share our findings. The owner decides how to proceed — no assumptions made.

Preservation First

We favour restoring function and character over aggressive polishing or replacement. Original finishes and dial integrity are considered at every step.

Quartz & Mechanical

Whether a daily-wear quartz or a complicated mechanical movement, the same methodical approach applies — disassembly, cleaning, and careful regulation.

Turnaround estimates are given at intake and updated if anything changes. We work to realistic schedules rather than ones designed to impress.

How do I know what service my watch needs?

Start by describing what you're noticing — a gain or loss in timekeeping, a stiff crown, marks on the crystal, or simply that it hasn't been serviced in some years. We'll advise on which service applies and what to expect, before any commitment is made.

How long does a typical service take?

Routine servicing and cleaning generally takes 10–15 working days from intake. Case and dial work varies depending on the scope agreed at assessment. Heritage overhauls on complex calibers may take longer and we'll discuss a realistic timeline before work begins.

Do the prices shown cover all parts and labour?

The listed prices reflect the labour and standard consumables for each service. If sourcing a specific part adds to the cost — a crystal, gasket set, or a particular component — we'll let you know beforehand and only proceed on your instruction.

Do you work on all watch brands?

We work across a wide range of makes, from everyday Japanese and Swiss movements to older vintage calibers. If a piece falls outside what we can competently handle, we'll say so clearly and suggest where else to enquire.

Is there a drop-off appointment needed?

We prefer drop-offs by appointment so that someone is available to receive the piece, talk through what you've observed, and take initial notes. You can book via the contact form or by phone. Walk-ins are welcome when the workshop is staffed, though an appointment avoids a wait.

How is my watch kept safe while in your care?

Each piece is logged at intake with a description of its condition, stored securely, and handled only by the technician assigned to it. A written record is kept throughout and provided to you at collection.
